Over the years, Spectrum has worked with a chemist and public health authorities to develop an evidence-based disinfection protocol that ensures the health and safety of all.

Bio-Cleaning is the efficient cleaning, degreasing and disinfection of your surfaces with an environmentally friendly solution. The application method is customized to the needs of your environment.

Our Solution

We employ a botanical disinfectant that kills over 99.99% of viruses and microbes, using a combination of virucidal (including HIV-1), bactericidal (including superbug MRSA), fungicidal and tuberculocidal ingredients that is not harmful to humans or pets.

The Program

Our team will arrive fully outfitted (in disinfected Tyvex suits and respirators) to professionally clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces as recommended by Health Canada Prevention.

You can choose how frequently your facility is sprayed or fogged. Some facility managers select to spray when carpets are being deep cleaned. Others select service every other week.

DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WEEKLY APPLICATION IS RECOMMENDED.

After a bio-cleaning, we’ll apply AEGIS Microbe Shield™, an industrial grade anti-microbial solution that creates a durable coating to protect against new microbes (including bacteria, mould and fungi) for up to one year.

The AEGIS Microbe Shield® Technology

The Spectrum Bio-Guard program sprays an AEGIS Microbe Shield® (AEM 5700) solution of C26H58NO3SiCl molecules that have 3 active parts:

Dry time is just a few minutes. The solution forms a micropolymer coating that’s an inhospitable environment for the growth of microbes. The coating can’t be seen or felt, doesn’t discolour, and is non-toxic to humans and pets. It can safely be maintained for up to 1 year with a regularly scheduled Bio-Clean program.
