Over the years, Spectrum has worked with a chemist and public health authorities to develop an evidence-based disinfection protocol that ensures the health and safety of your staff, residents and visitors.
We spray a botanical disinfectant that kills over 99.99% of germs, using a combination of virucidal (including HIV-1), bactericidal (including superbug MRSA), fungicidal and tuberculocidal ingredients that is not harmful to humans.
Our team will arrive fully outfitted (in disinfected Tyvex suits and respirators) to professionally clean and disinfect all common area surfaces (doorknobs, handles, elevator buttons, front desk counters, gym equipment, stair-railings lounge areas etc.) as recommended by Health Canada Prevention.
You can choose how frequently your facility is sprayed. Some facility managers select to spray when carpets are being deep cleaned. Others select bi-monthly service. DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WEEKLY APPLICATION IS RECOMMENDED.
Please contact your Spectrum account manager to book your bio-spray program.
The novel coronavirus known as COVID-19 is spread though an infected person’s coughs or sneezes. The BBC reported that a single cough can produce up to 3,000 droplets, landing on nearby surfaces such as upholstery, counter tops and door handles. Studies found the virus can survive on metal, glass, stainless steel and plastic for as long as nine days – perhaps up to 28 days in cold temperatures. So regular disinfection of common areas is crucial in the fight against the spread of this pandemic.
We all need to work together to reduce the risk of spreading disease. The CDC and Health Canada verify the effectiveness of any disinfectant with a DIN on the product label against COVID-19 – with a virucidal claim being added security. So you can rest assured that our bio-spray programs will eradicate the threat.
